CHEEK AUGMENTATION

 As part of the natural ageing process, volume is lost from the mid-face (malar fat) causing a gravitational descent. The cheeks flatten and the skin begins to sag.

By using deep anchoring techniques higher up the face, to replace lost volume, we create a lifting effect which reduces the likelihood of nasolabial, marionette and jowl formation.

A high density dermal filler can also be injected periosteally over the zygomatic arch (cheek bone) to enhance the facial contours. This results in high-arched cheekbones creating a more refreshed and youthful V-shaped face.

PLEASE NOTE

Mid-face is the area just under the tear trough. As we age we all loose volume in different places. If you look at your photos your tear trough depression looks relativity big and quite low down. If you just have the tear trough filled you will still have a hollowing below this. So the purpose of the mid face filler is to smooth the transition between the tear trough filler and the cheek to make it perfect.
